Ingredients

For the Marinade:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or thick curd (200 gm.), cut into large cubes
  • 1 onion, cut into cubes
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp paprika or Kashmiri red chili powder
  • ½ tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi or ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Nosh Spice Paneer Masala Mix
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp oil

For Basting:

  • 2 tsp butter or oil

Cooking Method

Step 1: Prepare Ingredients

  1. Cut paneer into thick cubes so they can be skewered easily. Cut onions and bell peppers into thick squares.

Step 2: Make the Marinade

  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt (or curd), ginger garlic paste, paprika (or Kashmiri chili powder), kasuri methi (or oregano), salt, pepper, Nosh Spice Paneer Masala, lemon juice, and oil to make a thick paste.

Step 3: Marinate the Ingredients

  1. Add paneer, bell pepper, and onion cubes to the marinade. Mix well until everything is coated.
  2. Marinate for 30 minutes or cook immediately.

Air Frying Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Skewer the paneer cubes, bell peppers, and onion alternately. Spray or brush with oil and place in the air fryer.
  3. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for about 7 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Oven Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) for 15 minutes.
  2. Place skewers on a tray lined with parchment paper. Cook for about 15-20 minutes. Broil at 450°F (230°C) for 2-3 minutes to get a nice char.

Stove-top Instructions:

  1. Use a stove-top grill or skillet. Oil it and cook until the paneer and veggies get a good char, about 5-7 minutes. Keep turning the skewers and spray with oil.

Notes:

  • Do not overcook the paneer; it should be soft and moist inside.
  • You can use tofu in place of paneer for a vegan option.
  • Air frying time may vary based on the type of air fryer and the size of the paneer cubes.
