Mustard Burger
Burger with a Zinggggg with Nosh Spice ready to use mix!!!!!!
Curry Type: MILD
Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef (preferably 80% lean)
- 2 tablespoons mustard paste
- 1 Teaspoon Nosh Spice Mustard Burger Mix
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Hamburger buns
- Toppings and condiments of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.)
Recipe
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Gently mix the ingredients together, being careful not to overwork the meat, as this can make the burgers tough.
- Shape the Patties:
- Divide the mixture into equal portions based on the number of burgers you want to make. Shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. You can use your hands or a burger press for this step.
- Preheat a grill, stovetop griddle, or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a grill, make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
- Place the patties on the hot surface and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness (internal temperature of 160°F or 71°C for medium).
- During the last minute of cooking, you can add a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt, if desired.
- Once the patties are cooked and the cheese is melted, remove them from the heat.
- Place each patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun.
- Add your favourite toppings and condiments, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mayonnaise, and more.
- Serve your mustard burgers hot and enjoy!
